Vigneti di Sagrantino
Umbria land of flavors, red Sagrantino wine and green olive oil are well matched to the delicacy of our meat and the goodness of our cheeses, seeing is believing.
In autumn the leaves of sagrantino take on a deep red color only, see to believe. For a long time, the Sagrantino grape variety was only used for Montefalco Sagrantino passito or to fortify mixed wines. In recent years, producers such as Arnaldo Caprai have started to use it unblended.

Hello Silvio,
Again one of these beautiful "carpets" of the countryside of your part of Italy. Not so bright colours this time, but harmonious mild tones matching each other perfectly. The small tree left alone complements the composition very nicely and the dense forest creates a perfect background. It's a well composed and beautifully exposed photo.

A very agreeable landscape composition with a lovely harmonious palette. The tree nicely placed off-centre makes a good focal point. Pleasant lights and natural soft colours and very good sharpness.

I like the alternating diagonal stripes of red and yellow green depicted in these attractive vineyards. Good sharpness and the hazy blue mostly shadowed bg hills add nice colour contrasts to the warm tones in the fg. Tfs!

Toscana e Umbria, pur con paesaggi diversi, si somigliano nella coltivazione di viti e olivi e in entrambi i casi, si dividono equamente la qualit� di questi prodotti, giudicati tra i migliori in Italia.
Il bellissimo paesaggio che ci mostri ci fornisce anche un'immagine meravigliosa di queste coltivazioni.

The countryside of Umbria is truly, richly coloured at this time of year. The reds, yellows and ochres have a very warm character.
I like your composition, which defines the strips of colours and also recognises the patterns created by the vines and the hedges.
The buildings create a fine sense of depth, strongly placed on the hilltop.

A multi colors field scenery, bright part in the foreground, contrast the shaded slopes on the far side.
Good clear view of the houses, the row of trees dividing parts of the hill and the strait rows of the young vineyards.

The nearest tree is well placed on this beautiful picture of the gently sloping Umbrian hills.
Wonderful with the variety in colour of the different fields.
The composition is excellent and I like the forested slopes that make a great backdrop.

Hello Silvio, a beautifully composed scene, the warm golden tones of the vineyards contrasting with the cool blue-green in the background.
The colours of the vines give a striped effect, before our eyes see the white buildings on the crest of the hill.
