Photographer's Note
Memorial for the victims of both world wars and the holocaust inside a German school.
Detail from the 2016-2017 period, as the memorial is intended to be varied annually.
The basic layer nearest to the wall is simply held in deep red.
The second layer consists of two copper and steel halves. The warm reddish copper contains a persistent inscription and will never be changed, while the empty hard steel will be decorated annually by the students, according to the theme on the agenda.
The third layer is made of unbreakable glass and bears the names of the victims of WW I, holocaust and WW II (from top to bottom).
The words on the copper half were taken from article no. 1 of the German Grundgesetz (constitution).

ciao Sven
don't forget, don't forget. It is very positive that a artwork can be modified by the children, which is not fixed and that is a starting point for reasoning, especially by the younger ones. TFS
ciao, Giacomo
