It was just an ordinary hot day in the desert, when we were making our way through it. After a couple of miles we made a short stop to take some photos and to refresh ourselves a bit.

I was drinking my last bottle of almost boiling water, when all of a sudden I heard our guide shouting and asking for help. The first thought that came to my mind was: 'Oh my God...Don't tell me...Did one of the ladies broke her nail or what??' We had some really 'fine ladies' in our caravan and God forbid that something would happened to their posh looks.

Note: Ladies (and guys), when you go on safari, leave your fancy Armani suit at home. You won't need it. In Sahara you don't need it, unless you want to make a good impression on a camel.

I turned around and noticed that one vehicle got stuck in the sand and they needed help to get it out. And they got plenty of help, because all the men decided to give their best to get that car out of the sand.

And eventually they succeeded and we could hit the road again.
