in the south of Uganda is the wonderful lake Bunyony and around it is a mountainous area with a lot of small scaled acres.
On the northern part of the lake some resorts provide small scaled tourism.

A superb panorama over this beautiful mountainous area with its many valleys. I like the light and shadow play over the foreground valley. Also, the patchwork design with its many green and brown hues. Top class technical realisation.

Quel magnifique paysage.On se croirait presque dans le sud est asiatique avec ces cultures en terrasses.La lumi鑽e est magnifique et fait bien ressortir les d騁ails.

Hallo Gerrit,
De steile hellingen van deze heuvels vormen een waar lappendeken van akkers.
Je brengt ons hier een heel mooi overzicht.
Indien ik het goed zie, werden hier niet terrassen aangelegd waarbij de velden zelf zich op een horizontaal vlak bevinden met muurtjes aan de randen ter ondersteuning maar zijn het hier werkelijk sterk schuin aflopende akkers.

Can feel the depth and vastness from this pov, it's a wonderful collaboration between man and nature, the patterns, shades & shadows, and colours on the slopes and there is a multitude of detail there. A treasure trove makes me think of a painting or woven tapestry. It's beautiful with the greyish sky nicely contrasts the brighter side of the fields enriching the shot. If I didn't know this was from Uganda, I would have guessed it was from Indochina. The pattern of alternating green and brown as well as the play between shadows and light render this photo very attractive.

Hi Gerrit. Reminds me of "How Green is My Valley".Is that the lake on the left edge of the photo? Any photos of the lake? I suppose that the original forests and wildlife had to give way to cultivation. Lovely POV. Regards. Klaudio.
