Photographer's Note
This image was taken during my last trip throughout Uganda. It was called "The pearl of Africa" by Winston Churchill and I think this is true (although I haven't been to so many African countries yet).
Over the last decades it struggled a lot because of many civil wars and still it has a lot of problems, escpecially in the North of Uganda.
Travelling through the southern and western parts of this country led me through some landscapes, that were just amazing. The people were also very nice and friendly to us.
We had a picknick along the way to the Lake Bunyonyi in the south-western corner when I made this shot.

Hallo Mirko!

Excellent capture, Mirko, in a photojournalistic style. The colors are vivid and everything is sharp. I like the composition with the truck and the bicycle coming from behind. Good timing!

Hello Mirko, Thanks for you typical picture of Ugandan public trasport. Well seen and well captured. I am looking forward to seeing more your pictures of Uganda. It is always so interesting to see the same reality through eyes of somebody else. Thanks for sharing, Cheers, Michael

...and this one is great, too. Very typical subsaharian image: the car, the bycicle, the "radio" which is the real voice of Africa...
Well saturated colours for this great compo.
Alberto
