Photographer's Note
A group of monks arriving at Jampey Lhakhang.
To be honest, I don't know whether they had come back or arrived there for the first time, but this image makes me think of the title of that song.
You may be wondering where the mist framing the image comes from. Well... the photographer didn't realise that some condensation formed on the front element of the lens...

Hello kasia,
I am very curious in this country, I have heard that the visa is very expensive and there is little chance of budget hotels, the picture is very beautiful and tells a story, excellent light and the feeling of height that cause the clouds...good one...

Hi Kasia
a delightful subject matter this and a great title although I cannot imagine these guys causing trouble can you? It is a fascinating image and I think the unintentional soft focus actually enhances the effect. A different world and way of life presented beautifully.
Enjoy the weekend - Brian.

Witaj Kasia
I hope these boys won't wreck any havoc. Not the most sophisticated form of transport for a monk.
In a way the condensation on the lens has added a nice soft touch to your photo. It is very colorful and exotic with the lovely structure behind the monks.
have a great weekend

Hello Kasia,
first i thought the shot was done through a dirty window, but thanks for the note :-)
The condensation makes the whole Image look mystic, which fits well to this Situation with the Monks.

Hello Kasia,
I had to laugh when I read your explanation of what I thought might have been dust whirling through the air. You were courageous to show this photo in spite of that little mistake, and actually I think the effect of the condensation is quite artistic. The "haze" and the clouds make an interesting circle around the building and the trucks with the monks. In the clear part of the photo the colours and light are superb.
Kind regards,
Gert

Czesc Kasiu,
no wlasnie ta mgielka wokol kadru od razu zwrocila moja uwage.Myslalem,ze to efekt obrobki zdjecia w Photoshopie,a tutaj prosze obiektyw stworzyl caly wyjatkowy klimat zdjecia za ciebie:)Zamierzone, czy nie efekt wyszedl naprawde swietny!
No i oczywiscie sama scena-ciezarowka wypelniona mnichami wyglada naprawde ciekawie-u nas dostaliby pewnie mandat i sporo punktow za takie podrozowanie:)
A na powaznie to interesujaca scena pokazujaca nam zycie w tym egzotycznym i odleglymm kraju.Znakomicie wypatrzona i skadrowana.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie

Witaj Kasiu,
bardzo ładna scenka z życia mnichw w Bhutanie. Bardzo ładnie skomponowane zdjęcie. Fajna mgioełka, mozna tez mysleć, ze to kurz z cieżarwki. Jazda taka ciężarwka tez jest ekstra. Jechałam w Birmie i było fantastycznie.
Pozdrawiam MAłgorzata

hi Kasia
I was attracted by the red hues of the monk's cloth, and the blurr on the outside of the frame gives another impact to the picture!
Cheers

Your accidental mist framing reminds me of how inventions and innovations often were the result of accidents or a case of serendipity. Nice effect Kasia and a lovely light. Interesting details. Pozdrav. Klaudio.
