Photographer's Note

Chongqing at the end of the day, the great port city on the edge of the famous Yangtze River. A city of about twenty million inhabitants, witnessed by this imposing alignment of buildings ... and on the river, there is almost a traffic jam with this coming and going of boats. River transport boats and in this picture especially of the boats of promenade or cruising. And to board, you have to take this floating bridge made of these blue barges.

Hello jean, The big city that no one who was there never heard of. And more people living there than in the whole of Australia. I suppose you went from there for a Yangtze cruise. Lovely view of the ships.

Hello Jean,
You managed a very good composition from this rather ugly environment. The uneven line of high-rise buildings is nicely complemented by the boats and barges on the river where the neon signs are perfectly reflected in the brown water. Chongqing is a strange city, unknown to most people outside China but sometimes mentioned as the largest city in the world. In some statistics of mega cities t's not mentioned at all. It seems nobody really knows how many people live here. I thought the Chinese authorities had total control of every individual.

A great view of the busy river with lots of boats and the impressive skyline in the background with so many high-rise buildings. The neon lights on the ships are very appealing as well and they are also very nicely reflected in the river surface.

Jean, the picture shows the fluvial activity on the mythic Yangtze in Chongqin. The colored cruise boats organize excursions on the river. The many towers in the bg illustrate the scale of China. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

A motley view on this city skay line with tall buildings that give the feeling of proximity, there also seems to be a lot of boat movement on the river.

the lighting in the sky may not have been to your best advantage, but who cares...this is all about the overall city scene and I enjoy it very much. Its also layed out so well, its easy on the eyes composition wise. great shot. cheers

the building looks like a plantation of skyscrapers in the edge of the river, they are similar one with the other. nice view with a difficult light.
