Photographer's Note

The harvested red peppers are drying in the sun, just outside Zhonglu, a village of the Yao minority. The village used to be only reachable on foot, but there has been a new road constructed winding through the mountains to connect Zhonglu with the more touristic villages of Dazhai and Ping'an.
The rice terraces in this area are known as the Dragon's backbone (Longji) rice terraces, and quite famous in China. The area is truly beautiful!

Great capture of a typical scene. The red/green contrast works really well, photography-wise. And the background makes a fine contribution too.

A fine daily life shot from what looks like a great place to travel in.
