LIPPO CENTRE BUILDING, a photo from Hong Kong, South

Photographer's Note

The central part of Hong Kong is located in the northern face of the island and it was the original base of the British in the region.
This part of the city is pressed between the mountain and the sea and there are many modern skyscrapers.
Lippo Centre is a complex of two modern buildings built between 1988-89, its highest tower is 186 meters high.

Essa parte da cidade fica oprimida entre a montanha e o mar e est� repleta de lindos arranha-c騏s modernos.
O Lippo Centre � um complexo de dois edif兤ios erguidos entre 1988 e 89, sendo que a torre mais alta tem 186 metros de altura.

Jorge, many buildings are concentrated on a small land. These skyscrapers have a futuristic design. Their facades are very elegant. Interesting glimpse of Hong Kong architecture. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Jorge,
Both these skyscrapers are beautifully designed and may have created fantastic reflections on a sunny day. You were haunted by clouds and haze a large part of your Chinese journey, but these buildings would look nice in any kind of weather. There are not many colours here, and those few are not very important, so this could have been a suitable case for a conversion to B&W.

Hello Jorge,
A really cool design for the large glass tower with its many shapes. Also the one on the left is nice, but looks quite boring and normal compared to the other one. I like the many silvery tones.

pelo que falou o relevo na China me parece o do Rio de Janeiro, cheio de montanhas que servem de divisores entre bairros e comprime os bairros que cresceram com muitos pr馘ios, principalmente na zona sul. Esse pr馘io ao fundo � muito bonito em arquitetura moderna, gosto desse estilo de arquitetura, que inova com formas diferentes do padr縊 reto como o pr馘io ao lado. Fiz tamb駑 um workshop aqui para tentar corrigir a inclina鈬o (sofro sempre com isso em fotos de pr馘io com grandes angulares, distorce tudo.

The building on the right is fantastic and seems to be a new addition to the skyline since I was there. Good sharpness and the lamppost acts as a partial frame. Tfs!
