Photographer's Note
My last day in Hong Kong was finishing and I hadn't seen one of its mais attractions, the Victoria Peak, that is one of the most expensive terrains in the world. In colonial times the place was choose by the rich British because the fresh climate and Chinese couldn't live there.
I waited in a line and waited around half hour to the cable car. The last days of the day were showing the city yet.
You can see the highest skyscraper of the town in the other side of the strait, at left. In FG we can see the forest of the peak damaged by the last typhoon, ahead the old part of HG and ahead the Kowloon peninsula. I had no time to walk in the trails of the peak.
..................
A luz do fim do dia permitia a vis縊 da cidade. Vemos no primeiro plano a floresta do pico destruda pelo ltimo tuf縊. Na baixada temos o velho centro da cidade e do outro lado do estreito temos um grande edifcio esquerda, que o mais alto da cidade e fica na pennsula de Kowloon. N縊 tive tempo de percorrer as trilhas do monte.

Jorge, the picture shows Hong Kong is nestled in a small area between the sea and the hills. It contains a high density of skyscrapers and towers, the urbanization is dense. The viewpoint from Victoria peak offers a stunning view of the city and Kowloon peninsula as well. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Jorge,
I rode the same cable car and saw the same view in 1986, but even though there were many tall buildings already then, it looked nothing like this. Only the hills were the same. There was probably also less haze. It would have been a pity not to climb this hill, so you ended your tour with an iconic view.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Jorge,
indeed this is the place which I would like to visit in the first instance while being in HK.
The view is spectacular.
Of course, me being a fan of blue hour photography I would like very much to be there in the evening to see the skyscrapers lit. But either way the view is stunning!
Excellent wide capture. The diagonals made by hills nicely frame the scene and we can better imagine the place having more of context here.
Great work,
M

Hello Jorge,
A great view of the big city from the hill top. It is a fascinating skyline caught in a nice and soft sunlight. Good inclusion of the hill slopes on both sides.

Ciao Jorge,
I have been up there and the cablecar is an experience in itself! Good sharpness and the wide angled panoramic crop suits the subject. Tfs!

Hello Jorge,
This is an excellent shot.
I had great fun scanning it to notice all the different buildings! I'm sure there isn't much space left on the ground!
I love how you have used the trees in the f/g; they frame the scene and create an amazing sense of depth.
The smoggy b/g helps to emphasise this sense of depth.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Jorge, this scene was well worth your wait, it is quite spectacular.
Thank you for the large version where we can see the buildings in even better clarity.
The darker foreground frames the view very nicely.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Jorge,
It is an impressive panorama. The point of view is showing the details of the highrise buildings below Victoria Peak. The clouds have a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.
