A view of the impressive facades of Hong Kong buildings. Apartments lined up and stepped by hundreds ... by thousands! A choice of framing to reinforce the geometric and graphic aspect of these alignments of openings with this succession of vertical and horizontal lines.

Hello Jean,
I took similar photos in Hong Kong but never posted any here. This is much better than any of mine. The gigantic building(s) covering the entire area is impressive enough, but it's the inclusion of the smaller, narrow building with the large sign on the floor that makes the composition really interesting. It gives the photo a kind of absurdity that I like.

Hello Jean,

This photograph, like a giant mosaic, emphasises the impression of huge skyscrapers, filling the sky, with little space between them. Then, the small, narrow building, strongly placed, is like a window to the past, suggesting this how buildings used to be!

Hello Jean, an abstract from real life!
The tight framing works really well here, and with the turquoise colour from the windows consistent throughout the picture, I really like that.
The smaller building with its large sign is an interesting distraction.
All in excellent sharpness.

A fantastic photo of the fa軋des of these high-rise buildings. The pattern of the many windows is excellent and I like the different colours and particularly the blue of the windows. The smaller building is nicely placed in the foreground as well.

A good abstraction. The little flat building up front with the remarkable blue signs is barely standing out against the dominating huge uniform buildings.

Hong Kong has lots of amazing apartment blocks. Apart from the patterns what I like about this is the poor dwarfed little building in front.

Very special tightly framed cityscape. It is easy to imagine such view in Super urban Hong Kong. But that narrow building is very special in that environment too.

one of the reasons I want to visit HK is to capture scenes like this one. There must be so much architecture to photograph.
