Another topclass capture/TE entry in your gallery.
Taken with perfect pov and sharpness.
The old sampan creates a perfect contrast with the modern buildings at the back part. Of course the red sails creates a wonderfull eyecatching effect.

Hello Jean,
It's an attractive boat with eye-catching red sails, and the cityscape provides a fine background. It's also a technically very good photo with well managed light. I think traditional boats like this are only used for tourists these days.

This is a cracking shot from your series in Hong Kong!
Excellent light and colours!
The boat moving towards us and displaying those bright red sails, makes a superb focal point.
Only the details of the skyscrapers, in the b/g, place this in modern times!

Great looking little ship, which has traditional design. You have a good angle on it as it passes by. Obviously it is in tourist business now. Skyline of Hong Kong is impressive of course.

And again, the scene looks very familiar to me, I believe the sailboat is exactly the same, cruising back and forth within the harbour. You were luckier with the weather than me, during my stay in HK the air was milky, hard to see the other side from the passage. Well composed shot, thanks for sharing.

Surely a good contrast from the red sails and the sampan traditional boat to the Victoria side with sky-scrapers.
Again, I say you had a wonderful weather when visited there.
My sampan picture done with an old camera, and the result was much lesser quality.

A great composition with this motley skayline of tall buildings in all perspective, the typical boat in the foreground, with those two red sails deployed, gives a good impact to the composition.
