Photographer's Note
.
Same day that I started my trek to Yuanyang, I received the new Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro UVIR camera that Ngoc-Son helped buying from New York and Thanh helped bringing from Houston to Hanoi for me.
This type of camera I cannot find one in Vietnam, and I learned that it's only available in New York market.
Currently I am with a Nikon but I hope I will have time to learn to use this, and hope the 'infrared' feature will give me some interesting results when the pictures are converted into black&white.
Hopefully those of you who have used this model in the last few years would share and give me some tips on how to best use it. Thanks.
Nhiem,
.

I don't have enough knowledge to critique a result of UV and Infrared. But I wish I could explain how much I enjoy viewing this photograph.
Thanks for posting this.

Hello there, I believe infrared is not the right tool to picture Yuanyang. Yuanyang is all about colors and reflections, not about trees, like in your picture. Your picture basically shows a tree, could be anywhere, not really linked to Yuanyang or even terraced rice fields. Still, infrared can be interesting... Greetings
