Cattle grazing on Tap Mun island on the northeastern corner of Hong Kong territory. English name of the place is Grass Island. But it seems that most of the grass is, well, eaten.

I'm also surprised to see something this undeveloped in Hong Kong, which I've always thought of as "just" a very large, very developed city. The foreshortening made me take a little while to realize that there was a pretty good-sized cliff or hill just past the grazing cows. Nice earth tones, and the sea is a lovely color. A well-composed shot, with the shoreline taking us all the way back in the frame.

Hi Kari.
I would not have associated Hong Kong with cattle, or even such a rugged, beautiful stretch of deserted coast. It's a well composed picture with a gentle light and the extra beauty of the waves.

this is really a surprised image to see of HK island. without all the modern buildings and highrises. It is in fact hard to believe there is still open nature in HK :) Anyway. Excellent shots that show a very different side of HK. Beautiful warm light and wonderful nature surrounding and peaceful mood.

itｴs something Iｴve missed not only being in Hong Kong,but also lately in your gallery.Truly beautiful place and so completely different from hustle and bustle of Hong Kong.Superb complement to the modern city.Excellently composed and framed scene.Also the time of the day seems to be ideal to capture it,as it brings out so beautiful warm color tones from the scene.
