Photographer's Note

Tseway Gompa is a Bon monastery on the Ganjia grasslands, from Xiahe on towards the Qinghai border. It is remarkable because it is one of the few Bon monastery left.

The Bon religion is an older form of Tibetan buddhism, where the wheels turn the other way and circumnavigating the holy sights, you have to take care to go counterclockwise, and not clockwise as usual in Tibetan monasteries.

A bit confusing, at times, all this religion...

Dag Benny,
mooi traditioneel gebouw en je tekst maakt de uniciteit wel duidelijk. De rest van de bebouwing ziet er wel erg armoedig uit in vergelijking met de tempel.
De groene bergen geven de impressie zo nog honderden kilometers door te gaan in een eindeloos landschap.
Mooie en interessante plaat.

Dag Benny,

Dit moet een hele openbaring zijn om een reis te maken door China.
Met dorpen en Tibetaanse tempels en cultuur.
Maar uw foto toont duidelijk een schitterend panorama over het dorp en het bergachtige in de achtergrond.
Heel mooi foto werk, bedankt.

J'aime beaucoup ce point de vue. On passe facilement d'un toit � l'autre tout en ayant en point de vue ces belles collines vertes en arri鑽e plan. Ce temple au toit vert est de toute beaut�.
