B/w looks very good. Just a thought, how about using the girders to crop and use them as your frame.

Hi Animesh.
The view is great double subjects are always interesting in photography. You could however cut the left sude of the frame, that empty space is disbalancing the picture.
I hope you don't mind, I send you a WS.

Hi Animesh,
I find that the poles are slightly imposing but the reptition of the silhouette boats work amazing. Great background and B&W treatment.

the contrast of the boats and people with everything else is quite stunning. it looks like a total different exposure or something. The whole picture is middle gray but your boats and people have much stronger tonal range. did you do any PS work or how did you get this strange exposure?
I like it

Hello,
I like this a lot. But it seems to me that this composition needs a bit space to the left that you have kept. In that sense I am not agreeing with some comments that the left side of the frame could be cropped and the girder can be used as natural frame.
Regarding the photo, it is a nicely composed shot, looking great in b/w.

I liek teh simplicity of the scene here, and the repetition in the two similar looking boats.

I can relate to this one instantly. Besides the subtle, ezpert composition, Animesh, I like how the foreground is gauzy and grey and the boats darkly etched - giving the image so much depth.
You really love that Nikon F3, huh? had one a long time ago - I think, in the hand it was just about the perfect instrument, with a 35mm f2 as i rcall. Loved the HP viewfinder too. A simple, in a way, SOLID, perfect camera.
best,
Francis
