First Ray, a photo from West Bengal, East

Photographer's Note

Taken from Sandakphu early in the morning around 5.40 am. The first ray of Sun is hitting over the snowcapped peak of mighty Mt. Kanchenjunga. The spectacle view of Sunrise and Sunset over mighty Mt. Kanchenjunga is one of the reason that makes Sandakphu worth visiting.

Beautiful sunrise, the colors are natural and there are even details in the foreground. A beautiful panorama.

Hi Lopshang,
Absolutely beautiful. I see that the light just appear, yet you managed to get really nice exposure still of the foreground, even though it is dark but I can see the layers of the different element from the foreground treeline and the middle ground of mountain in rich earth tone and the distance in blue haze and top off with snow cap peaks, the sky is drammatic in the pattern of the clouds that reflected beautiful warm light of the first ray of the sun. The panoramic view is perfect to gives us and open view of the whole area. Good work, and thanks. My complements.
