Trying to capture portrait of a Young Baba who came to my street in search of some food.

A very beautiful and colourful picture of this person and with perfect sharpness.
The handprints on the wall are intriguing.
I don't know exactly what a Young Baba is. Is this man a young Sādhu ?

A sharp image slightly off centre which is good and well focused on the essentials but not sure the type lens used. But what i did were; lightening a bit on the facial features - the eyes being the most vital element in any portraiture, removed colour cast then reduced slight colour saturation and lastly white applied white correction. The background Imho, does not distract much but greater shallow dof would be much better. Hope you like it!!

This is an interesting and beautiful portrait, very sharp details good light on the face and the expression is very well caught, there is only one disturbing element: the wall.
I find this portrait is simply an excellent work

now quite sure how you could improve on this one.
Sometimes asking the person to move a little so they're on an angle, rather than straight on can be effective.
However, that's always easier said than done, and I've taken several photos of people 'straight on' as well.

the man is very captivating, lots to keep our eyes scanning him up and down and side to side.
very interesting man to photograph.

Hello Joginder,

In a portrait, the eyes must have the sharpest focus, for they convey the personality. You have certainly achieved that in your portrait; the eyes are not only sharp, they are intense, having no fear of looking straight at you and your camera.
I think you were right to give the Baba such a tight crop; there is, therefore nothing to compete for attention with his face.

Hello Joginder,
I haven't seen many Babas (in pictures, of course) as young as the one you are presenting in this portrait. His straighforward gaze is intense and I get the impression that he wasn't totally still at the moment his picture was taken. There's naturalness and spontaneity, I think that Abmdsudi's processing has brought them out even more. An interesting person, the bright colours enhance his features and style even more. Fierce portrat, looking directly at you with no particular expression. Nice bold hues. He is in the middle of the frame but thanks to the inscriptions on the wall, we don't notice it. Cropping the right part (no special interest) should be an option to have him off center
