This is the statue of Maitreya Buddha in Diksit Monastery in Nubra Valley in Leh, India. It is 32 m tall statue. Diksit Monastry was found in 14th century by Changzem Tserab Zangpo, a disciple of Tsong Khapa. From the compounds of monastery one can have a panoramic view of Nubra Valley..

Hello Manisha,

This is a fine, sharp photograph of the Maitreya Buddha, clearly revealing the vivid colours and patterns, and is strongly positioned in the f/g.
Its challenging height with the b/g mountains helps to emphasise it size.
I wonder if there were any figures around; they would certainly have revealed the scale.
