These are white sand dunes in Nubrah Valley, Ladakh. They appear like a snow cover when viewed from far. This place is a real sought after place by tourists as the sight of a sandy desert at such a high altitude is in itself an unbelievable experience...

Unusually white sand dunes, probably explained by their high setting. A good photo of them.
