Shot while travelling from Calicut to Ooty at a place close to the TN border. The drive takes one through a ghat road surrounded by beautiful thick evergreen forests. The road is not in the best of its condition, it is common where heavy vehicles carrying goods on such ghat roads. Unlike the other pass NH 212, where there aren't any wildlife encounters, this is truly a forest and there were at least two Elephant corridors that I could count with warning signs to give way to them.
Although my journey was uneventful, the beautiful forest were sight to behold and made me think of those famous lines by Robert Frost.
