Photographer's Note

Portrait of a boy taken at the time of Zatra Festival.
He was standing against the blue gate looking at me. I liked the pattern created by the blue bars behind his head, so here he is!

I created a theme about that Festival.

Smart use of the BG like the rising sun behind his head..the title is appropriate. Harsh sun looks like, from the way his eyes are squinted. Well done in the shadow..I like the handkerchief he's tied to his neck! Good portrait shot

Ol� Marilyn, yes the pattern behind him is what makes this lovely portrait so sucessful. Every lines converging right to his face resulted in a stronger composition and also the blue color contrasts well with him. It's a pitty that he isn't a bit to the left for the perfect centrality, but that's a small detail. Very good capture!

Tr駸 bon cadrage, c'rest presque une aur駮le et je pense qu'il doit y avoir pas mal de chr騁iens encore � Goas � cause de la longue pr駸ence portugaise. Mais je pense que ce petit gar輟n a autre chose � penser qu'� la saintet�...

This is a stupendous composition. THe rays of the blue bars emimnating from behind his head add such a glorius halo. Great saturation of colors, the blue of the gate and his dark brown skin provide wonderful contrasts.

Avant de scruter tes photos de ton s駛our thailandais, laisse-moi commenter celle-ci qui m誕 accroch� d鑚 que j誕i regard� tes ｫthumbnailsｻ... Quelle superbe image!

L弾nfant soleil, rayonnant de sa peau basan� et de son costume dans les teintes de chair et se d騁achant chromatiquement de la grille qui lui sied d誕ur駮le. La lumi鑽e est formidablement chaude, la composition est d馗entr馥 et la nettet� est impeccable, tout pour faire de ce portrait une image r騏ssie.
