From my trip to India, July 1985

Again we are in Aurangabad. Apart from road signs and the tarmac the scene could have taken place in a far out past. This is rural India where anything has changed since centuries. We had a similar oxen carts in Sardinia which were still in use until 60-70 years ago.

Hello,
It's a very rare image for those days, especially here. Only in some villages they still use this kind of transport. Picturesque scene, well taken.

The sign 'dead slow' is a bit funny when we see the transport here with an oxcart.
A very attractive daily life-picture with the men still dressed in traditional clothing.

A good oldie here: it looks like a tranny, given the strong contrast. I particularly like the "Dead slow" roadsign, that the cart driver is obviously ignoring! Fine piece of street observation.
