Photographer's Note

One, of many, instances where manual labour is employed to perform tasks that are mechanized in most developed counties. It was a typical hot hazy afternoon in Mumbai, and the image is washed out, so I converted the background to B&W in an attempt to provide a little more contrast.

Nice dynamic daily life scene. I'm not convinced about the partial desaturation, a washed out background I think would have worked pretty well. Maybe a WS

In some way your editing makes it look like the men with the load is from the present, pulling it into the past. Well you succeeded with the attempt regarding the contrast!
