A small fraction of AD 1460 Mehrangarh Fort located abt 125m above the city of Jodhpur, taken in a morning on almost flat lighting with presence of the woman gives the place a sort of majestic magnitude. With the embattlement face ranging from 6m to 36m high, the appreciation of scale becomes so apparent......

Setting: 50 mm, 1/80 sec, F3.5, ISO Raw 200, 0816 hrs

The figure of the woman emphasises the immensity of the place. Although no sunlight the colours are very good.

And the woman's clothing, red and blue, the colours standing out so clearly against the colours of the buildings.
An excellent composition.
We get a real sense of the scale of the Fort. There is some amazing masonry here.

hello Abmdsudi, The tiny figure of the lady in blue enables us to realize what a magnificent and huge the walls of Mehrangarh
are. Impressive composition. Good idea to go there early in the morning, when there are no crowds yet.

The presence of the lonely person is essential here to understand the scale of the buildings. I really like the different textures, most of all the large red stones on the left and the smoother round pillar. Wonderfully soft light as well.

Magnificent detail of the entrance to the Jodhpur fort, immense walls and gigantic columns, as we can see in comparison with the lady who walks towards it.
