Photographer's Note

Looking for something of interest, this is the sort of scene that always grabs my attention as I walked past around the backstreet of Agra Old Quarter. Women at work - sieving grains, a common everyday scene here showing a small window into hard working women. They were clearly so focused on their task and seemingly unaware of my presence. Work normally starts early here to avoid the high daytime temperatures. Their colours always fascinate me.

Life in another world so much different from our own.

Setting: 38 mm, 1/20 sec, F13, ISO Raw 200, 0910 hrs

Hello Abmdsudi,

I would gladly our young women one week this work see done with this type clothing, I think the world would are to small!
This are not the most easy picture for photography.
Also colours and sharpness make your picture very attractive.

A good colourful action street photo but sieving grains of what? It doesn't really look like rice, maybe wheat?
