great shot and i like the poignant note ... it's not much of a life that these children have to look forward to.
i like the b&w tones here and the contrast you've got. the slight graininess works for me too.
great photo and very meaningful. thanks for sharing.

hi animesh ... very very touching portrait ... india is getting heavier in economy but it would not reach the greatness until it starts working at the grass root level, and more religiously ...
for the photo, the choice of b&w for such photos is always spot on ... i would have liked the girl more towards right side of the frame to give a bit more space at her front side ... take the small aluminium bowl full into view ...
nevertheless, it is a good moment capture .. thanks for sharing ...
