Photographer's Note

Goa abounds in festivals and fairs around temples and churches which also commenmorate early legends.

During the time of Zatra Festival hundreds of devotees from all walks of life have converged in the city to participate in the 71st annual bodgeshwar zatra.

A very big fair bristling with local sweets called "kaddio-boddio", eats, toys, utensils, tea stalls, game stalls like the giant-wheel, tattooists, etc..

Salut Marilyn,
Tres reussie cette photo de roue dans un Mapusa que j ai presque peine a reconnaitre! Les immeubles forment une belle toile de fond avec un impact graphique certain>>> les couleurs et la nettete sont top de chez top

A good pov, with excellent sharpness. Perhaps I would increase saturation & contrast slightly, but that's just a personal prefernce. Merci pour le partage.

OL� Marilyn, I think I like more the general view in the ws. This is interesting for the graphism and interplay bettween the fa軋de and wheel, but to be honest I think that a similar one to the one in ws, without the building could work better, giving that look of Midle Age. I also would increase a bit of the contrast and saturation here, for a higher impact of the graphism.

J'imagine les yeux des enfants, s'illuminer en voyant ces grandes roues, tirer la robe de leur m鑽e pour pouvoir faire un tour de man鑒e.
Pouvoir regarder l'environnement depuis les hauteurs, se faire peur et en garder un souvenir pr馗ieux.

ces fetes foraines dans des pays telles que l'inde et l'asie du sud est sont toujours si etonnantes. des attrations un peu viellottes a nos yeux, de tout et de rien dans tous les coins et tout le monde qui s'amuse.

Le cadrage est tres beau pour cette belle roue. La profondeur de champs donne un mariage interessant avec le fond .

It's amazing how close to the buildings the fair is, and this shows it perfectly, as does the wider view in the WS. Your POV and focal length were well chosen for the way the wheel fits into the frame.

A good urban scene, with the wheel...I think I may go for the diatant view in the WS because it looks fuller. Maybe a tad more contrast would help? Good compo. nonetheless
