Photographer's Note
This is a shot of a field of Nadeshiko(Dianthus superbus) flowers shot during a recent three day trip to Hokkaido, the northern-most island of Japan. In the background you can see the Tokachi mountain range with one of the volcanic vents that as far as I know constantly pumps smoke and steam out into the atmosphere.
