Photographer's Note

This photograph was taken at Akabane Station which is the transfer station which goes to the place of the repair office of my camera. Akabane is a door station of the north in Tokyo adjacent to Saitama Prefecture. Keihin Tohoku Line, Saikyo Line, Utsunomiya Line, and Takasaki Line are extended into this station. A station yard is recently remodeled and there are shops of various kinds, such as light restaurants, a barbershop, a clothing shop, and kiosks etc., within the enclosure. Exactly, since it was morning commuting time, it was full of the plathome by many persons who go to the center of Tokyo.

Left center: Touch-sensitive vending machine selling soft drinks

Hello Mikio,
nice the snapshot from the daily life of the city with all these scenses from the urban station yard to make the whole image as an excellent reportage shot.
I like the defferent sences as the different and well chosen activities.

This is a very nice combination of station photos. I like that you show both people and other details, too. I remember the trains in Japan very well from my two visits. I even took a photo of me talking on one of the green telephones. :-)

Creative image, love the detail of something completely different photos showing life at this train station and how well it is all put together, a brilliant montage poster of life in the train station. The elements work together and also speak to us directly, well done even more so considering the lengths you had to go to, to achieve the results you wanted. A mix of six photos showing six diff. subjects when walking through the station, Mikio, and observed people and elements of interest.
