Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken at the site of the temple in the mountain village in the Tokyo suburbs. This temple is a temple of the Linji school of Buddhist having been founded about 600 years ago. It stood quietly at the back hand of the Akigawa ravine reached about 20 minutes by bus from Musashi-Itsukaichi railway station. In front of temple's entrance, the old stone statue of the Buddha was located in a line, and with the double cherry blossoms of the feature in deep pink, the azalea had made the flower bloom.
