A splendid portrait picture with the lady in full action.
I think that certainly Japan not must the lesser are than Brasil.

Another beauty of a photo and girl from this festival, created as always with your expert eye for depth of field. One thing that really strikes me about this image is how proud this lady looks to be part of the exciting and colourful festival, the pride really shoves through in her strong body language and her expression.

Konichiwa Takero san
Long time no hear, but live is keeping me busy and with not getting any notification mails from TE anymore the site has simply slowly slipped from my mind.

Is it that time of the year already again, time for samba and carnival? These girls look definitely not Japanese but of corse are gorgeous in their costumes. As usual your maitrise of DOF is perfect and lets the subject stand out perfectly.

This is a very spectacular picture and it's not only the many details and colours of the costumes that makes it so, it's also the lovely ladies and their festive moods and smiles. This is an excellent shot. It is bold and fills the frame. The shallow DOF allows the viewer to focus on the lady in purple.

this is so colorful so beautiful, I am not even sure which one is Japanese and which Brazilian. I like very much the vivid colors in the background. The costumes are so impressive, bodies as well of course.
Excellent festival reportage. After seeing that I am really motivated to go to Rio :)
