Photographer's Note
This is one of the most famous sight for sakura (cherry blossom), the name is "Chidori-ga-fuchi park". Along with the moats of emperor palace, around 500 sakura trees are planted. Today (4th April) is full bloom, so there are many many people, but the beauty is also outstanding. This is the one of the best spring scene in Japan.

Hi Takero. Incredible sea of pink. All those people enjoying the sight of the gentle blossoms emphasizes the Japanese age old appreciation of the beauties of nature, even if the city is not far away. Where is this Takero, in Hokaido, or are the blossoms late in Honshu this year?Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Takero,
very interesting composition. I like your choice for the focus in the foreground and leaving the back blurred. Some how it looks like a shift-tilt :)) Very well done!
Regards,
Carlos
PS: and advice: don't thank too much in you replies because the moderators might delete your post. It happened to me before :))

Hello Takero,
This is a very well chosen POV, where the tiny rowers on the gently curving water look like embedded among the cherry blossom. The dominance of pink flowers, going from sharp to blurred, have a very strong effect.
Thanks for sharing,
Gert

Dear Takero,
the scene is really one of the best! What a beauty! I can only imagine how beautiful it is in "reality"! (I wonder how many photos I would take there if I happened to see all this with my own eyes?)
I like the blurred BG and the tree branches which are in sharp focus in the FG: this creates a very good depth.
Excellent perspective and very good POV and composition, in my opinion. Besides, these blue boats are a very nice addition to the scene :)
I like the mood which this photyo creates :)
Best regards,
Elena

Perfect capture of a quintessential Japanese springtime scene. I like the way you've put the focus on the foreground cherry blossom. The skyscrapers in the background complement the sakura perfectly.

Hello Takero-san
Indeed such scenes would be a delight to watch! Very nice use of DOF here on the single branch of the cherry blossom & the blue boats providing good colour contrast, Lovely place & good shot...But one part of me says this could have been better with a narrower DOF with a further part of the picture in focus, at least upto the last of the boats..just a thought!
Best Regards
Angshu
