Photographer's Note

When I was out of Tokyo for a several days, the circumstances in Tokyo was changed dramatically.
Everywhere we can see the full opening of sakura (Cherry blossom). Actually Japan sets in the spring season.

Great capture! I like the compressed scenery--it focuses on the subject without too much distraction. I like the contrast between the the sakura, the boat, and the surroundings. I was there last year for hanami and took about 700 photos. It's a great place for hanami!

Dear Takero,
the tree looks like covered with snow!... Yes, life of a flower is too short, and if we want to capture it, we must hurry...
I like the composition, and also, I am glad to see you included a small blue boat with two people in it :) This makes the photo very romantic! And I agree with Paul about the depth and scale.

Of all your cherry blossom photos I find this the most appealing. A simple photo with the dots of cherry blossom dominating the scene. The contrasting boat and passengers add human interest. Tfs, Marlene

Hi Takero,

A wonderful spring scene. The very large blooming tree is very impressive. The boat is a great inlusion that makes the scene vivid. Personally I would have positioned the boat a little more to the left. TFS and have nice week!
