Finally it will become also even in February and, in Tokyo, a warm weather continues the past several days. If one month also passes, the season when a cherry tree blooms will come. This photograph is taken by the Chidorigafuchi of Chiyoda-ku the end in March of seven years ago. Chidorigafuchi is a moat in the northwest side of the Imperial Palace, and the neighborhood is famous as a cherry blossoms viewing spot. The Nippon Budokan and Yasukuni Shrine adjoin close. It will be crowded with many people if the season of a cherry tree comes. This photograph was taken from the sidewalk on the way to The Nippon Budokan from Kudan-shita Station of a subway. Cherry blossoms and rape blossoms had bloomed all over mixed with the green plant in the cliff of a moat so that a spring visit might be shown.

Hello Mikio,
very well captured spirit of the coming springtime. The two colors of flowers frame the image lovely and add plenty of contrast for the lush green grass. Pretty composition with very fresh colors and superb sharpness.

The straight lines of the moat are perfectly incorporated in the picture. The white and yellow flowers add very pleasant parts too. Maybe this will be the same view in just one month from now!

Howdy Mikio,

Fine view of the cheery tree in blossom with radiating light, and yellow flower companions.
I enjoy cheery trees and their fruit, and have 5 of them in my yard; unfortunately so do the squirrels and blue jays.

This is an appealing view of a small garden in full bloom suprisingly by the moat with excellent combination of contrasting colours where the cherry blossom dominates. Touches of green and yellow are wonderful colors bringing lots of life and vitality. You sure have captured the scene to your best in great clarity and point of interest. Well done shot, Congrats
