Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken in the supermarket which faced as Hongo street in the place along which I walked from the house for 15 minutes. This supermarket is treating the variety of foods and carrying out 24-hour. In the first floor, with the processed food, underground has placed the perishable food. Many goods are placed on the narrow space and inside of a shop is not made orderly. However, compared with the surrounding store, it is cheap and variety of foods in here. By its reason, there are always crowded by many customers focusing on the housewife at shopping time in the evening. The bargain goods is placed on the shelf at the entrance of a store every day. Fruits such as a banana, a peach, and an apple, soft drinks, instant noodles, spaghetti, rice, etc. are displayed well. Probably, the advertisement leaflets of this supermarket will be put into a newspaper and it will advertize as part of an attraction. Anyway, the hot day also continues this year in Tokyo. I saw the spectacle thay it was humorous for the bicycle furnished with a red parasol parked to passage in front of the store on that day. Probably, the owner of a bicycle will do some shopping in a store. I took this photo as avoiding cars running or parking the street from the opposite side of street.

Nice shot of the market..could have under exposed a bit.. understand too sunny..also does,'t really goes the tag line(IMHO).

Fine two pictures over the same location, show a nice view on the displayed merchandise.
Two umbrellas are a vivid addition to the whole. The lady in pic. looks to be in a hurry, gave good dynamic scale.

Hi Mikio,
The color combination is very good, well seen! The framing is too tight for me, the bottom of the bike and the tippity-top of the umbrella are missing. It is also a bit too bright and colors faded. The colors can be fixed with postprocessing. I will upload a suggestion in the workshop.

Good note to go with this shot, It's a nicely tight cropped to fill the frame with all the goodies
to make the picture tells a story. This shot informs and pleases the eye jam packed with colours of the store spilling the stuff onto the pavement to liven the shot. Off course the red umbrellas and green caught attention as well as boosting the overall effect, a joyful shot and what more could any street photographer ask!! Congrats
