Photographer's Note

It escaped from the curtain of night and dim-light has put the circumference. Time was turning around a little 4:00. This is a bridge of a promenade which leads to JR Tabata Station. This is a promenade for the residents who mainly live in the opposite side to a track to use a station. The first train in a day begins at morning 4:30. This time is too early for a commuters and an attending-school person going back and forth. I like this time zone beginning the first activity in a day. It may be that it does not have a crowd and I like the atmosphere which the sky was dyed red slightly. A streetlight was still put on. The one man went to the station at a quick pace so that he might be made to catch the first train. We can see the hotel at right side and JR building at left side. One day starts so that there may be nothing, and it passes over what so that there may be nothing. However, the stream of the times changes beyond our anticipation.

Even though it was a difficult light condition, and some mist - managed to take a sharp and very clear photo, with superb DOF along the bridge promenade.
Early riser photographer, and only one more person out there on dawn...

That time of day, be there or miss it!! Certainly worth the early start Mikio. That sky has influenced the whole image with its colour. Great comp, good lead into the urbanscape, fg details and sharpness and there's a wonderful sense of depth too, Well done. TFS.

Hello Mikio,
Apparently, photographers call the hours right after sunset the "blue hour". Looking at your photo, the hours before sunrise should be called the "magenta hour." The colors are lovely and the pedestrian mall provides a pretty perspective. Good work!
