Photographer's Note

The western-style building and western-style gardens were designed and built in 1917 by Josiah Conder. The land was at one time home to the politician Mutsu Munemitsu.The park in its current state was opened to the public in 1956.　In Spring and Autumn many kinds of roses open the cuty flowers.

Hello Takero,

I couldn't believe that this was Japan, when I saw the building style and the surrounding garden. It is just like an English garden with box hedging, rose borders and centres filled with salvia nad marigolds!
You have captured the scene with excellent clarity and vibrant colours.

So different picture in your gallery! The building with no people art sight and in western style, like taken from old Europe. beautiful composition with salvia and tagetes in foreground. Nice colours.
