Bird and Boat, a photo from 東京, 関東

Photographer's Note

This is another picture from my visit to Komagome's Rikugien park.
There was this bird perched on a rock in this huge pond, just sitting there. Everyone was photographing it.
The colours of autumn had not arrived in Tokyo yet at that time and so, the only thing that caught my eye in this picture really, was the reflection and the boat in its boatshed and of course the bird, posing for the various photographers and artists.

The picture was very bright so I darkened it a bit. Also cropped and resized it.

This will be my 98th post to TE and also my last post for the year. I am going to UK and then to India and probably wont have internet access and even if I do, I probably wont log on long enough to post or critique.

The trees with the reflections in the water and the beautiful autumn colours make a great picture here, the bird beneath is a splendid detail, excellent composition and thanks compliments for Christmas and New year.

A nice tranquil scene, Dinyar - well captured. I like the colours in trees and their reflection in the water. The boat house is nicely framed. Well seen.
