The bloom of a cherry tree is late probably because of the severe winter this year. The declaration of blossoms of the cherry tree was announced in Tokyo yesterday. It is later for about one week than for an ordinary year. Although I walked in the circumference of Komagome Station today, cherry blossoms was still Pink's bud. The place in this Komagome is a place of the origin of a kind called the Somei-Yoshino(Prunus ﾗ yedoensis) which is a national standard cherry tree. The event of the cherry tree festival was performed in the commemoration park in front of a station on that day. The event started with the parade by neighboring school students. After the greeting of the head of the ward, some Members of Parliament, etc. finished, traditional performing arts such as a drum, a koto, and a dance, etc. were performed in the park site.
In the site, the small food booth offered the snack. It seems that such a festival was exercising self-control in various places because there was an earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster at last year, and one year passes and it revitalized it. The beautiful sightseeing ambassadors of Cherry blossom also participated here and they had attached the flower. I thought that it was not what Japan also threw away if such a young person looks at the event which takes the lead in activity. And, I became the feeling which got energy. It was one warm day appropriate for spring on that day.
