Photographer's Note

This bridge is a bridge of steel-framed reinforced concrete construction of 2,618m of extension which connects central breakwater reclaimed land to Wakasu, Koto-ku ranging over the third route of the Tokyo harbor. The trussed structure which repeats it and constitutes a beam from structure which connected the long and slender component with the triangle at both ends is adopted. Construction work was started in 2002 and it completed in February, 2012. The passage of a bridge has the side of both-way 4 lane and a sidewalk. It is for easing road confusion of the container traffic which increases every year as main constructional purposes of this bridge. Since it rises high so that a dinosaur may face each other, it is also called the dinosaur bridge. Seemingly the sky here is a route which lands at nearby Haneda Airport, and the airplane passed it at the short interval. Moreover, many anglers were hanging down the pole to the breakwater.

Hello Mikio,
This is a brilliant photo, well composed and very attractive. The modern and interesting bridge is nicely captured on a diagonal and the cloudy sky provides a suitable background to the grey steele. Near the bottom is a fine area of green grass that provides a superb background to the red lighthouse. Perhaps the finest detail is the airplane approaching Haneda. It is well placed in the corner, just about to fly out of the composition. The light is very mild and pleasant.

Excellent view of this metalic bridge . The cloudy sky and the poor light work very well here . The real bonus of teh composition is the plane in the corner . But I like , too , the red lighthouse , as the only coloured element of the picture .

hello Mikio,

A nice view of this bridge with the colors matching with the colors of the sky. I like the framework and the architecture. The red little lighthouse makes a nice color contrast. I like the inclusion of the plane.

Just saw the WS, I really prefer the first one, is more like silver

Like your POV and composition in diagonal to best appreciate the dinosaur bridge and the red spot given by the lighthouse

A must is the plane escaping almost from your capture
