Photographer's Note

On this day, I had a meeting with people in the Shiomi station on the Keiyo Line in Tokyo. The purpose is to pick up the PC with a repair request was deposited in the electronics stores nearby. Since I arrived at the station early rather than the appointed time, I was walking nearby. This area is a warehouse district or apartment often. And, there is a canal pouring into Tokyo Bay. There was a small park in the vacant lot, which is adjacent to the apartment. Park was surrounded by wire mesh. On-site, there is a slide colorful, elementary school children were playing. Perhaps, they would a child who lives in an apartment. Now is the season of summer vacation. I came to the site of the green in front of the canal past while looking askance there. And. I paused on the bench. The opposite bank of the canal, iron was placed on-site in a dreary place, such as a warehouse. In the distance, building of Tokyo Sky Tree is seen. I went back to the entrance gate of the station after a walk around the station about 30 minutes. In 40 minutes late, people waiting came. It was the very hot day of summer.

i have never been to Tokyo, but the Scene reminds me of the various Osaka playgrounds i have seen.

Nice composition with the children behind the fence and the good Colors of the slide.

Hello Mikio,
I am glad I grew up in the countryside where we could play in the fields and forests, inside old barns or empty houses with no adults making any arrangements. But children can enjoy themselves anywhere, as this photo clearly shows, even though the surroundings are not so nice. For a photo the group of children and the bright colours of their playground make a nice view. Only it's a pity that they have to be protected by a high fence.

You must know that in some countries, standing and taking photos of young children in a park, could bring the police immediatrelly, hope you were safe back...

Hello Mikio,

Happy that these children play in this park, the most children sit behind the PC or game consoles.
This is a lot healthy also for these children them condition.

nice the snapshot from the children as play in the park of the city.I like the light as the colour management of the scene.The three colours of the slide makes the image more effective.

The first thing I notice when I look at this photo is its excellent DOF. Not only is the fence, but also the children and the background buildings are also in focus. Composition is immaculate, as usual.
