Photographer's Note

This strange building is movable museum and is named Nomadic museum, Odaiba Tokyo. It is a building like the warehouse, so I didn't know for long time what this is until I see a giant curtain showed a boy and an elephant.
So, when having seen for the first time, this photograph hit between the eyes to me and took pictures at here from various angles when I visit this area for shopping. This photograph was taken by Gregory Colbert.
It's strange the contrast between this museum and huge ferris wheel in background.

* Introduction of Gregory Colbert
Canada and Toronto birth in 1960. Gregory Colbert's activity starts from the production of the documentary movie that makes social issues a theme in Paris. It converts from the filmmaking afterwards to the art photograph, and the first one-man show is held in the Erize museum in Switzerland in 1992, and about 40 countries or more in every country in the world are visited without announcing the work at all, and it takes a picture of the work that draws the exchange of man and the animal for about ten years afterwards. Ashes and snow is held in Venezia Arsenal in Italy in 2002. Afterwards, after the exhibition in Santa Monica, California, holding with Tokyo and Odaiba is decided. Hereafter, ashes and snow and a nomadic museum of the future will evolve artistically.
