Photographer's Note
This is one of Japan's most loved landmarks, the Disneyland Castle at Maihama, Tokyo. Of course, some would say this is not the real Japan, because it is not traditional, and it is just a copy of the Disney Castle in Los Angeles (which, in turn, is a copy of a castle in Europe). However, since this is the Age of Simulation, who cares? The statistics show that more foreign tourists visit Japan to go to Disneyland than to see the old temples of Kyoto (especially Asian tourists from China and Taiwan). And after visiting Toyko Disneyland today, I found it to be an almost psychadelic experience -- pyschadelic in an Eastern kind of way. So it might be a copy, but in the way it is copied, a strong Japanese influence comes through.

Very nice shot. It could be funny to take a photography of every castle, perhaps create a theme! Very good shot with this famous blue sky. Good job Robert.

interesting idea, this is indeed the most crowded place in Japan I've ever been to.
You applied too much sharpening, there are halos around edges, specially clear on the blue sky background
