She took the rest outsaide the shrine in order to avoid the crowdness inside. She is 13 years old but she looks more for her age, I am afraid that her parents will be busy about her affairs.

A lovely portrait of this young girl, and although I do not find the nicely blurred background disturbing here I think I would have cropped the image down to the girl and her parasol to make it even stronger.

So you are back at Meji then eh? But you don't use the same Umbrella as before.
This kind of beautiful portrait still gives me very fond memories about Tokyo and the beautiful 3/5/7 festival at Meji.
Allthouth she is definitely to old for that festival, her traditional dress is gorgeous and the smile is captivating. I think you are quite right that she will break many a heart of young boys in her time.

A really beautiful portrait shot, classically beautiful. The parasol makes such a perfect backdrop against which this girl has presented herself, and the colors of her clothes are so bright and appealing. I agree, she looks a lot older than 13! Really wonderful shot, thanks as always
