Photographer's Note

This is a restaurant in a garden in the center of Tokyo. The surroundings are surrounded by many green trees. This restaurant adjoins the back gate of a garden named "chinzan-so" at the former site which Aritomo Yamagata who is a veteran statesman of Meiji era purchased in 1878, and he was using as his own mansion. There is a yellow curtain in an entrance and it is covered with the corridor of the thin stone pavement following a dining room. The lamp was placed at the fixed interval by the wall of one side, and harmonized with it well with wooden ceilings and a lattice. Although I have not had a meal here, it is a restaurant which truly seems to be high-class from structure of a building. Kyoto may be sufficient as the restaurant of such a structure, and it sees it.
A style of building is the design and appearance common to a traditional high Japanese restaurant of social status.

A modern entrance of the restaurant in the center of Tokyo.
Both pictures are splendid and pleasant for look at.
These creating depth and perspective.
Composition and colors are pleasant.

Hello Mikio,
This is also a quite sophisticated composition, nicely framed and with good depth. The yellow curtain brings more colour to the plain interior, and although most of us can't read what is written on it, the letters themselves obtain an artistic quality.
