Photographer's Note

Compared with Men's Rugby, Lady's Rugby is not so common. In Japan too, there are not so many teams but I shot their so rare tournament games. They are University's students.

Maybe this is your first photo of female rugby players. They look almost as intense as the men, fighting hard for the ball. You did well to capture their expressions, and as with your other sports photos it's perfectly sharp and well exposed.

We usually see your fantastic pictures of the men playing rugby. I had no idea that there are also Lady's Rugby games. The emotions are the same. Excellent reportage picture.
