Photographer's Note
Ome-city, Tokyo is the place of production of cloth for many years.
Sericulture is prosperous and the stylish person of the Edo period was presupposed that the textiles from Ome are attached to the body.
But now, the sericulture of Ome-city declined and the textile factory decreased sharply.
However, in Japan in recent years, the trend to improve "Japanese style" grows and cloth peculiar to Japan is praised by various artists.

nice idea to desaturate the cloth background. there is a small section that it seems you moight have missed near the lower left side of the marble that is a bit apparent. but interesting photo and nice idea. cropping off a bit more of the right side as well might add to the photo a bit.

Sharp image! It looks like I've seen that button before... It is very lovely! So bright on the dark silk. I hope you'll send more of this details of clothes of Japan.
And any more infos about the traditions are welcome too.
