Photographer's Note
This is the famous festival at far west Tokyo area(Oume;45km from center of Tokyo). This festival has 12 floats from 12 sub-districts, each float competes dance and music each other along the main road. Dance is usually performed for the hero/heroin based on the Japanese mythology. This is a traditional Japanese devil, which frequenttly appears in the clasicall art performance, ex "Nou" or "Kabuki". This performance is very very dynamic too.

Hello Takero, Now this is a pretty scary looking fellow. Very colorful and extremely well dressed. I must have missed some shot along the way, as I think this is the second one I have seen in my nightly surf. Again, thank you for the great cultural shots you have been posting. Regards, I am off to California tomorrow for a week plus. Roger
