Her function is to second the team leader and second with him if necceasry. She has to hand and hold lantern up, it is rather hard to her, eventhough it is not so heavy. She is a beatiful and cute girl, but she seems to be gloom, maybe due to hard walk and fatigue.

Dear Takero,
you take many "psychological" photos/portraits, and this is one of them!
The girl really looks rather sad and tired.. Did she pose specially for you? if she did, then you did not manage to bring a smile to her lips? :)
Technically, a very good shot, as practically always! Thanks to the good DOF those two people in the BG do not look too disturbing as the girl stands out clearly enough.

Hello Takero, Yes there is a bit of a dour look on this young lady's face. She might be disappointed in something or even bored. I don't think this is the look of a tired person, but then who can say. Nice portrait of this individual and very sharp and clear. I am off for a few days, going to San Francisco area. how many photos did you do from this event ????

once again you did a great photo job, sharpness, light and colors are simply superb, I would have cropped a bit the top of the photo just above the head of the woman. anyways it is a really good one.

judging by the light, it looks as if you shot the photo in the afternoon - maybe she was just tired of being on her legs... maybe she was tired of smiling to all the other photographers who preceded you... :)
I like her expression, it's very real, it's how life is sometimes - when we think we are not being watched... :)

i agree with you about her expression.
Looking at your other festival photos, all the girls are smiling, happy, cheerful....not this girl!
